WORK has recently released the new version of its software Oscillation, designed to control DMX. The main news is the compatibility with LM 2 MK II, the bidirectional USB/DMX interface of WORK (Oscillation was already compatible with LM 3 and LM 5).
Oscillation is an interesting alternative to powerful softwares (e.g. Chamsys MagicQ) that may be too complex to manage when it is just about DMX channel, cues and cue lists edition.
Overview of the software functions for each interface:
LM 2 MK II: Sending data via USB (converted to DMX by the interface).LM 3E: Firmware upgrade.LM 3R y LM 3R2: Firmware upgrade + sending data via Artnet (converted to DMX by the interface).LM 5 y LM 5W: Firmware upgrade + sending data via OSC (converted to DMX by the interface) + control de shows y escenas.Oscillation is a free software, compatible with Windows system.
