The multichannel distributed audio system over TCP/IP has been enhanced and now incorporates new features.
The audio distribution system over IP by WORK Pro, BlueLine Digital System, has been nominated for the InAVation Awards 2015. These awards recognise the excellence and the most innovative products of the AV sector.
BlueLine Digital System, finalist in the category of Most Innovative Audio Product of the Year, is a distributed audio system based on streaming using Ethernet that can adapt completely to user´s needs. It is possible to transmit several channels (+ control) via Ethernet as data and with very low latency. It can be a simple transmission from one point to another or a network with multiple points, but also a full multichannel system with control and alarm management.
This audio system offers multiple ways to control and manage the audio signal. On one hand, it provides three encoding modes: MP3, PCM and ADPCM. On the other hand, the combination of its modular nature, that also allows to include independent devices, with the possibility to treat the signal in different ways (signal sending from one point to another, alarm system, GPIO management, self-powered amplifiers) turns BlueLine Digital System into an alternative to the conventional 100V line systems, controlling each zone individually and hence, avoiding the limits of a centralized overall control. This open system capable of adapting to every need, installation (previously designed or not) or one-time updates.
The most innovative thing that makes BlueLine Digital a strong candidate for the InAVation Awards is the concept of how WORK Pro team has designed the system. The system is modular and fully scalable so from just 1 stand alone streamer and several receivers up to 64 streamers and as many receivers as zones needed and any zone can select the channel desired.
Furthermore, the devices that form the system can be integrated using universal protocols (such as OSC protocol) what offers the possibility to expand the control to third-party devices. For local control, BlueLine Digital System offers several intuitive wall-mounted controllers with different features according to its utility.
The InAVation Awards dinner and ceremony will be held on the first evening (10th February) of ISE in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
